U may wonder why? ...Kerala films sometimes seem much more expressible in many ways one among in the film is exhibiting the communist flag, symbols, usage of Velu Pillai Prabhakaran photos etc...where as if u have used something like this in Kollywood u would definitely be censored or to the extend banned

In Varnam ayiranam u could see suriya how easily he picks up the guitar and goes to America easily ...but here it speaks up the hardcore reality with the base as love ...the Mathew character whos with communism ideas see's things widely which would have been not happening without his father ...whose character is definitely one lovable in the film ...like usually if there are two opposite liking persons in a home ...directors generally take it as a cat and mouse stuff but here he clearly showed in a different perspective ....the way he respects his son idea ,thoughts at the same time how he cares his one of the best way of parenting ...now to the plot the director showed has the real difficulty of the migrants from Mexico to USA.. especially in the scene where the guide advises to get condoms ....so bascially it's a travel journey of communist guy towards his girlfriend in America from Kerala ....the characters especially the friend , secretary of the party are the best ,the uncle ...the imagination scene where he tells to chae guvera ,mark and Lenin are one out of box thing I loved....heard this film did not go well in Kerala ....but it's one good films ❤️ do watch
